  Teaching about Controversy.....
Posted by: segarama - 14-02-2008, 03:38 PM - Forum: Live from the Classroom - Replies (1)

We address and do our best to teach current events and even address controversy in our schools. Of course the scope of the teaching and depth of the teaching depends a great deal upon the age and maturity of the student and the teacher....and the teacher? Yes ... and the teacher. We must expect more depth of subject matter from our teachers and a very high level of maturity.

Many teachers cannot teach controversy in our schools due to their own personal academic and political foibles....yet then there are the great stars in the teaching field that make us proud to call ourselves teachers.
Be well,
Rob:yes:
